Is Your Mind Keeping You in Bondage?

STOP ALLOWING THESE 6 THINGS TO CONTROL YOUR LIFE:

  1. “I just can’t – you don’t know what I’ve been through.” – Do not allow what happened TO you in the past to control your future. The sins of others do not define who you are! There is power, as well as humility, in forgiveness. Find your worth and identity in Christ alone! He thought you were worth saving—be thankful for it, believe it, and walk in it!
  2. “I don’t deserve to succeed. I’ve made so many stupid choices…now I’m stuck with what I have.” Do not allow what happened BECAUSE of you to keep you trapped in a cycle of guilt and shame. If you have repented of your sin and trusted in the saving work of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven—you are a new creation! It is neither productive nor glorifying to God to waste time beating yourself up for past sins. Walk in that freedom for His glory!
  3. “I’m afraid people will think I’m _____.” Do not allow what people think of you to define you. Your worth is found in God’s love for you and who He created you to be! Boldly walk in that truth!
  4. “I just can’t stop thinking this way!” Do not allow destructive/dysfunctional thought patterns keep you in bondage. Many of us have made negative mind-habits that keep us paralyzed. Create new habits using Scripture, prayer, and relaxation techniques (including the use of essential oils) to practice healthy, productive thoughts! Find a prayer partner to help keep you accountable!
  5. “I’m not sure what_______ would think.” Do not allow dysfunctional relationships to hold you back from spiritual growth and success. Avoid passive aggressive behavior in your life by learning to deliberately use thoughtful, assertive speech. Seek to respect, love, and serve others without allowing yourself to be manipulated by anyone. Evaluate your direction, make a decision to move forward, and pursue healthy goals wholeheartedly.
  6. “I just don’t have the money.” Do not allow debt and financial bondage to keep you trapped in a prison of fear, stress, and physical/emotional exhaustion. It can rob you of your time with family and even your future. Contact us to discover a unique opportunity to break free from this bondage!
